My parent was an inpatient at SCGH recently and was admitted by an RN working with a nursing student. The excellent nursing care provided by RN Remy is a credit to the profession. It's always a bit stressful being a nurse/family member and being on the other side of the bed rails.

Remy acknowledged this by communicating openly and proactively with both my parent and I. It's an absolute pleasure to receive care from a professional, smart, switched on and caring nurse. She was working with a student and she was able to balance the needs of her student, her teaching goals and feedback; as well as direct, prioritise and manage my parent's care. Meeting fantastic RNs like Remy makes me proud to be in the healthcare industry.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about the excellent care your parent received as an inpatient at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. It is always good to hear about the positive impact that great nursing staff like RN Remy have on our patient and their families.
