"A special thanks"

About: Kalgoorlie Population Health

(as a parent/guardian),

I just want to say thanks to Sue the School Nurse at the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School. 

As a parent, it always such a comfort to know she is there to care for, and more importantly, guide and support our kids as they develop into young adults. 

This is especially true when they hurt themselves! Thanks for being such an important part of the village Sue!

Thank you so much for your positive feedback. I do hope your child is okay.

I agree, Susan is a wonderful asset to the community and for the students at Kalgoorlie Boulder Community High School.

Being a school health nurse in a high school can be a challenging role, but it is a very important one. Susan is there to encourage students to take responsibility for their own health, learn and promote healthy lifestyle choices and help students to manage injuries or illnesses.

I will ensure that Susan is aware of your kind words.
