About: Lives Lived Well – Dubbo (Roadmaps)

(as a service user),

I have attended the Roadmaps program each time they came to town. This time around I was able to pick up on more strategies as I was at a different place in my life. The staff supported me and during the program I realised that I am the only one who can change by life and no one can do it for me. 

Towards the end of the program, I made the decision that I wanted to go into residential rehabilitation. The Roadmaps staff supported me and helped me with the process.

Thank you for your story about your experience with the Roadmaps program and how you have attended each time they come to town. That is a determined effort to change things in your life. It is great you came to the realisation you are the only one who can make that change, and it is important to remember that you can get help from others when you need it.

I am glad that Lives Lived Well's Roadmaps program staff have been able to support you and guide you through the process to join a residential program.

I wish you all the best in your life ahead as you open yourself to the learnings of the residential program.
