"Getting sutures out at Kerang District Hospital"

About: Kerang Hospital / Urgent Care Centre

(as the patient),

Had a knee reconstruction in Bendigo recently. Had to come back home - needed to get sutures out 2 weeks later. I rang Kerang Hospital and the staff very courteous and helpful over the phone. I was told to come straight over and I could have the sutures out. Walked in the front door and was taken in straight away to a treatment room. The nurse and nurse practitioner talked with me and explained everything to me then proceeded to take out sutures, checking all the time if I was ok or in pain. They explained a pain management plan with me, took my BP etc. The staff I dealt with were very courteous and friendly - a credit to the hospital.
