"My short stay at Maroondah Hospital"

I was taken by ambulance in the early hours of the morning to Maroondah Hospital Emergency Department suffering from severe chest pain. From the moment I entered the hospital early in the morning. until I left after midday, I was treated with respect by a team of professional, skilled and caring people.  

I was kept informed, never left unattended and necessary tests were conducted without delay. At all times I felt confident to be in their care. I cannot praise Maroondah Emergency Department enough. Thankfully, I was not having a heart attack. The medical staff were thoughtful enough to congratulate me on coming to hospital quickly.

Test results were given to me and explained. They were also sent to my GP. I came home calm and confident and fully aware of my course of action should this situation occur again.
