About: Lives Lived Well - Logan Family Recovery

(as a service user),

I have completed my stay at Logan Family Recovery (LFR) Centre. When I came here I was pregnant with my sixth child and had a lot of interaction with the Department of Community Services (DOCS). Coming to Logan Family Recovery has helped me deal with DOCS and even though I didn't get to keep my baby, I still have a lot of hope that I will have them returned to me because of the advocating that workers at LFR did for me.

I will continue my journey at Logan House as this service is specifically for families with children. I would highly recommend that anyone who is having issues with parenting or dealing with child safety to come here as the staff are highly supportive and you can tell them anything without judgement. Definitely the right place for anyone with drug issues that has kids.

It is great you have received the right support for you from staff that has helped you work through the difficult issues with DOCS, your children and drug concerns. It takes courage and perseverance to take on those patterns and behaviours. Well done. It is great too that you have hope for the future to reconnect with your children.
