"I had eye surgery from being assaulted"

About: Sandringham Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was massively assaulted and needed to get to hospital for a fractured eye socket, fractured skull, cut open right hand, and right knee.

From all that, I believe the hospital just wanted me out. They quickly stitched up my knee, gave me painkillers I felt were weak, had plastic surgery done to my hand (at least I was knocked out), but I believe because my left eye was too swollen from being hit with a bat, the Faciomaxillary Department couldn't operate until the swelling had gone down.

The hospital sent me home until the swelling was down when I was barely able to walk, urinate or poo but they sent me home anyway. I have no car or family and friends to help. I'm all by myself and my accommodation was 3 hours away. The next day they wanted me to come back! And they have done this twice.

The 2nd time was after eye surgery and I was sent away the next day in 40c heat on public transport, just after surgery with a swollen eye. I feel this is ridiculous.
