Well, we received a call from our parent's aged care facility who was having chest pains and was in an ambulance to Wonthaggi Hospital. We made our first visit to Wonthaggi Hospital. We have only recently moved about 40 mins away from the Hospital.
From our first contact with the reception at the Emergency Department, we were put at ease and feel we cannot fault the care and attention we received. Lachlan, Kate and the doctor that we saw, we believe were fantastic. We appreciated the doctor taking the time to speak to us in private and asking about our parent and their wishes. A true caring doctor in our opinion.
It turned out to be nothing sinister and we left feeling confident that we have a great local hospital.
