I had a bilateral right and left eye laser cryotherapy/cryopexy where they freeze the eye at the Sydney Eye Hospital.
I had a pretty good experience - they did the job, though I'll see in a month or so at my follow up appointment how successfully it all went :)
I have told all the girls that have been looking after me that they all have to apply for a transfer to another hospital – the one I am used to :) They were marvellous. They explain things. The nurses have looked after me so well - I think the nurses are angels.
Actually, one thing I am not overly impressed with is that I haven’t seen the doctor that did the job though I have seen a couple of the offsiders. They were nice but I didn't get to see the specialist for a few weeks.
