My spouse was admitted for a stroke and at the time they were in Atrial Fibrillation, which suggested the heart was to blame.
It took over a month to receive an angiogram which showed a serious blockage in the main artery in the heart. In the meantime, they were given strenuous rehab in the Sub-Acute Care Unit (SACU) that could have caused a fatal heart attack, according to the heart failure nurse.
When SACU sent my spouse home, they told them they had no physical restrictions, just not to walk or swim alone. In my opinion, the rehab consultant at SACU was, I felt the worst doctor we found through this entire journey.
"Lack of proper care"
