(as the patient),

After being involved in a car accident I was transported by ambulance to Dalwallinu Hospital while I waited to be taken to Royal Perth Hospital by Royal Flying Doctor Service.

I wanted to express my sincere thanks to all who were involved in taking such good care of me at the local hospital. All the nurses were very kind and caring towards me and I always felt like I was in good hands.

It's so good knowing that excellent health services are available in rural areas.

Your story really highlights the significant impact that gestures of kindness make to what I imagine would have been a very frightening situation for you. It’s so pleasing to read that you were well cared for by our wonderful nurses and that you were made to feel safe during this time.

I agree that we are very lucky to have high-quality health services in country Western Australia, including access to Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.
