"Operation to remove cancerous kidney"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital / Breast Service & Ward 6A

(as other),

Hi, recently my spouse found out that they had a tumour on their left kidney, it was quite a shock to us as there was no reason to think it was there.

We had a meet the team meeting recently with Dr Ak and the team who were all very caring and professional, including the lady at the reception.

A few days ago my spouse was admitted and we are both absolutely delighted and grateful to everyone who has been involved in caring for my spouse, right from the ladies in the Transit Lounge, the team who performed the operation, all the doctors, nurses, and everyone else who was involved.

My spouse is back home now thank goodness, and we would like to say a massive thank you to all at Ward 6A, in my opinion, Fiona Stanley hospital is brilliant.

God bless you all.

Dear rainnh46,

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive story with us – I know that our staff are remarkable, but still it is always lovely to hear feedback and receive such heartfelt gratitude.

I have forwarded your message to the Urology service, who were “delighted to receive such a lovely compliment”.

I hope that your spouse continues to recover, and thank you again for reaching out to us.

Kind regards,

Neil Doverty
