"Day surgery"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital

(as a relative),

I recently took my elderly family member for a day op to the hospital.

I actually drove from interstate to do this. Check-in procedures were seamless. In post-op, the Nurse, Estelle, was so friendly and caring it made my elderly parent-in-law (MIL) at ease.

At the cashier on completion of visit around mid-afternoon, l was asked if l had the Concession card of my MIL which l showed and l received the parking discount. I thought that was so thoughtful on behalf of the female cashier (sorry cannot remember her name).

I felt Sydney Eye hospital had so many helpful and friendly people.

Dear normaxw69,

It was lovely to hear after a long drive from interstate, that your experience with us was very positive. The staff work hard to ensure a seamless process for our patients and visitors and it is great to see this is reflected in your feedback. I will ensure your lovely comments on Estelle and Bertha (Cashier) are recognised by one of Sydney Hospital & Sydney Eye Hospital - Care Opinion HERO certificates.

All the best in your parent-in-law’s recovery.

Kind regards,

Alan
