I had an ankle fracture which I received surgery for and have been no weight-bearing. I was transferred from Busselton Hospital to Margaret River Hospital.

Since transferring from Busselton Hospital where I received great care, I was received by Margaret River District Hospital in a professional and friendly manner. I felt like I was at home already. I enjoyed the time spent outside and the time spent on collecting my admission information by the nurse which I felt was completed in a relaxing and welcoming manner. Since my arrival, the staff has been thoughtful in with the equipment required for me and ensuring it comes through. The care I have received from allied health has been thorough and professional. I felt my dietary needs have been addressed. My self-care needs have been addressed in a caring and thoughtful manner, making me feel relaxed and welcome. The doctors have checked my history and suggested new medications and diabetic care. To sum it up, I feel secure and receiving the best care possible. I feel relaxed and cared for.
