Was referred to a diabetes educator at CGHS. When I attended the appointment I was told the educator was on leave so I would have to see an RN that I believe had no qualifications in diabetes education. That was OK, we had a nice chat but I felt no real education in controlling my diabetes was given.
When I went to pay the bill (about $20) if I recall correctly, I was told that I was unable to pay on the day due to circumstances beyond their control. I have since received a bill for nearly $100. I felt it would be OK if I actually saw a qualified educator.
