"Exceptional Care"

I  recently developed a very sore throat, later, discomfort in my arms between elbows and wrists, then tightness in the chest. My spouse drove me to the RAH Outpatients.

Within a few minutes I was in a cubicle being attended to by a team of caring specialists, and in no time at all, I was upstairs with a stent being implanted. For the next 3 days I was a guest in the Cardiac Unit 4E1, as I recall, where the staff were just fantastic, caring and very professional.

Similarly, the cardiac surgeon was exceptionally good, very thorough with his detail of further action, the options available and potential outcomes and very patiently fielding numerous questions. A further 2 stents were implanted before being discharged. Since then, Rehab follow up and support has been equally superb. Recovery to date has been very good.
