"Ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration"

About: Kalgoorlie Health Campus / Medical Imaging

(as a service user),

The nurse Dorothy (Dodo, I believe she likes to be known as this as how she introduced herself as), I feel went above and beyond as a caring nurse. She explained in detail what was going to happen and made me feel very comfortable about having the procedure.   During the procedure, she was comforting with her comments.

Dear Noddi,

Thank you very much for your kind words about Dorothy (Dodo). Dorothy has featured in other recent positive feedback for the same supportive behaviour to patients having procedures, and consistently demonstrates the important role of nurses in re-assuring and comforting patients as part of their care.

I will personally pass on your feedback to Dorothy and thank her for you and for reflecting so well on the Medical Imaging service.

Regards

David Bowdidge
