My parent was rushed to the hospital recently by ambulance with acute abdominal pain. They were admitted to the geriatric ward for 2 nights after spending some time in the Emergency Department (ED).
From the paramedics who picked them up to the nurses, doctors, cleaners, wardsmen and the people who delivered their meals; each and everyone was friendly and professional.
Some names in particular were to be noted but the hospital as a whole should be very proud of the care your amazing staff give. It was obvious that everyone was incredibly busy but tempers were never frayed and professional standards were always first class:
- In ED: Noel, Gemma, Jude and Georgia
- On the ward: Dr Brian and Jenny on 9E
- Sam, in the transit lounge.
Thank you for taking such good care of my parent and of the population as a whole.
I myself am a nurse and I was inspired and proud to be part of the profession that your staff represent.
