"Couldn't praise the hospital highly enough"

About: St George Hospital / 5 West Cardiology St George Hospital / 6A General Medical Unit (GMU) St George Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was rushed to St George Hospital via ambulance and was found to have a blocked artery and thrombus. I was terrified but the staff made me feel less anxious and I felt they were the right people to look after me. 

From the Emergency Department, the Cardiac Ward and Discharge Ward, the staff that attended to me were amazing. So helpful and understanding. 

I had to return a week later and again the Emergency Department and Cardiac Wards were amazing. I couldn’t praise the hospital highly enough.

I am sure it would have been a terrifying experience for you to be rushed to hospital in an ambulance. I was very moved to hear of the amazing, helpful and understanding staff that cared for you during your health scare. We are very fortunate to have such skilled staff working here at St George and we love hearing about our patient’s experience with us.
