"Impressed with the care and staff"

I had heart surgery recently and left the hospital a few days ago. I’d like to make special mentions and thanks to a few staff members that attended to me during my time there. 

Alexandra from the pre-op clinic who I felt was great! It was like she was a flight controller and was on top of everything in my opinion, in such an impressive way, it was unbelievable. This was before the surgery. 

After surgery, I was in Intensive Care and was a bit out of it but there were two nurses that cared for me. I don’t remember the name of one of them, but the other one was Luiza - she was also just great in my opinion.

I was then moved to the Coronary Ward and the four nurses, Bessie, Toni, and Seiko, Ching were fantastic. They were unbelievable - better than I can imagine. I felt they were also on top of everything. I felt they were very professional and competent, as well as warm and caring at the same time. In my opinion, it is hard to get those in the same package, but I was very grateful to have been cared for by these unbelievable and wonderful nurses.

Lastly, Maggie the pharmacist did a great job of explaining everything. I felt she was very thorough and clear in her communication on the drugs I was taking home. I felt her explanation was not rush and she was willing to take the time to explain every detail. I felt like I had her attention in the length of time that I needed and she was not in a rush to get rid of me to get to the next person in the queue.

Overall, I was very impressed with the whole department. Everyone was just fantastic.
