I was supported throughout my pregnancy, birth and delivery by the Midwife Group Practice 4, and more specifically, Sarah and Liz. The care and support I received was exemplary.
It was so reassuring to know that I was receiving personalised support as a result of the continuity of care. The MGP program also ensured I could always contact someone for urgent and non-urgent questions who knew me and my medical history, which was very reassuring.
I ended up needing to be induced and upon arrival at the hospital, I was greeted by Liz, who knew me and what I needed. Consequently, I felt comfortable and well supported throughout my labour and birth.
I needed some minor surgery after the delivery and really appreciated the consultant, Will, taking a little extra time to talk to us.
"I felt comfortable and well supported"
