Recently, in the early hours of the morning, I gave birth to our 2nd beautiful child at Frankston Hospital. All of the midwives involved were so helpful and supportive.
The main midwife that looked after me, Anais, was so incredible and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to her because she is truly an amazing woman.
Working through this pandemic and putting herself in potentially harms way, she made me feel so relaxed and cared for the whole time, especially when I just kept saying sorry all the time 🙊. She was happy to just sit and chat with my fiancè and I while we were waiting for my contractions to kick in, which made me feel more like a friend than just another woman giving birth at a hospital.
She did such an incredible job and I am forever grateful for helping me have an awesome memory of my second birth.
All of the other midwives involved were amazing supports as well and made my stay very comfortable and safe; especially in a time like this with COVID-19.
