"Pregnancy and Birth"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Community Midwifery Program

(as the patient),

I gave birth at King Eddys. Since 19th week of pregnancy, Mel and Paula from MGP5 looked after our pregnancy and birth.

We felt cared for throughout the whole process and can't thank them enough.

The pregnancy classes were so helpful as well as the home visits after the birth.

We are very grateful for the MGP5 team😊

Dear filingjg43,

Congratulations on the arrival of your new baby. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback; I am pleased to hear that your experience with the Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS) was a positive one.

It is great to hear that you had such a wonderful pregnancy and labour experience with the MGP5 program. WNHS would certainly like to expand the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) service for our families in the future as our numbers grow so that more women in the community can access care from the same small group of midwives for the duration of their pregnancy, labour and birth and in the postnatal period.

Thank you once again for sharing your experience. I wish you and your family all the best for the future.

Kind regards

Jodi Graham
