About: Lives Lived Well - Logan House

(as a service user),

I am very sad to be leaving Logan House, although it is my time. It has been such a wonderful experience for me while getting the help and support for my addiction that I needed. I have enjoyed all the groups that have been put on during my stay.

My Treatment Facilitator, Janelle, was amazing helping me understand what makes me tick and ways to deal with every day hardships in a different way from what I normally would have. The other staff are also so knowledgeable and take the time to also get to know you and help with your journey. I will miss Logan House and the staff dearly.

Thank you for your comments on Care Opinion about your experience at Lives lived Well's Logan House. Your comments are appreciated. Thank you too, for the recognition of staff who you worked with so closely with.

It is good to hear your experience was 'wonderful' and the individual support and group sessions enabled you to understand yourself and approach everyday events and challenges in a different way. When you have this type of experience and begin to do things in new ways it is only natural you will have feelings of sadness and realise you will miss these people (both staff and other residents) who you have spent such significant moments with. This is a normal part of the process of making real change in our lives. It is courageous of you to acknowledge this.

I wish you all the best as you leave Logan House and take the next step of putting these learnings into practice in your daily life.
