"Expertly and kindly looked after"

About: Augusta Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I had a turn the other day and went to ED at Augusta Hospital. We are so lucky to have a hospital in our little town. Was expertly and kindly looked after by Colin and Judit and Dr Callum. Very thorough examination and kept for obs for several hours. I even got given a three-course meal which was very tasty.

The only thing I could mention and I'm not wanting to be ungrateful was there was no remote for the TV which, I believe, is frustrating for the patient and the staff.

The staff at Augusta Hospital take great pride in providing to the community of Augusta, a high-quality healthcare service. I am pleased that you received an excellent standard of care from our great team of nurses, doctors and kitchen staff. I have provided your feedback to all staff involved with your care.

The television remotes are easily removed from the rooms, we are unable to secure them, as this would make it more difficult for people to use. Replacement television remotes had been ordered prior to your stay with us, to ensure each room has a television remote.

I am glad that you experienced compassionate care, I hope you have recovered and wish you all the best for the future.
