I went in for a simple Mirena removal which required me to have a general anaesthetic. The procedure was booked through the public system so I was expecting a lot of waiting around. From the moment I arrived I was given a bed to relax in until the procedure, a TV, 5 nurses, doctors and a anaesthetist visited me and spent a long time with me explaining the process. They sat down and took the time to talk to me despite it being such a small procedure. They went above and beyond in every way.
