"Disgraceful Discharge"

About: Box Hill Hospital / General Medical

(as the patient),

Recently, instead of a doctor talking to me, I had a social worker confront me in the middle of a panic attack, tell me I'm discharged today because I can bathe and clothe myself. Was told plainly both untrue.

Currently now bed-bound at a friend's place, in pain and still as homeless and a wheelchair-user as I was before I was admitted. I told them this information about my functional capacity and I was told prior that I would be seen by a physio and OT, and was confirmed neither had been referred to see me.

I am now unsure what happens next for me.  I have no way of contacting any specialist in the neurology department that I interacted with and was bawling my eyes out as I left.

I'm sure this isn't standard procedure surely?
