I had a day stay at Fiona Stanley Hospital recently for a colonoscopy. It was pretty daunting having this procedure for the first time, but every single staff member was terrific.

The nurses in day admissions, the anaesthetist and the proceduralist, and nurses in the recovery room. I was in and out within a few hours (no waiting), everything was well explained and I was always asked if had any questions.

I was provided with the results of my colonoscopy as soon as I awoke, and given a medical certificate for work. I even got to choose my favourite music in the theatre room. Thanks and well done to you all.

I know that all of our staff are kind, caring and compassionate in addition to being excellent at their jobs – but it is always nice to have this reinforced by our patients. I have passed on your compliment to the team involved in your care.
