"Outstanding care"

My parent has been paraplegic for several years. They have always had excellent care from the Spinal Unit at Prince of Wales Hospital, both during their initial admission and as an outpatient since then. Everyone has been caring, thorough, professional, hardworking and always taken the time to explain everything.

This year, however, the care and expertise have exceeded all previous care. Alex, the OT in the Seating Clinic (and her team) have been amazing. They have gone above and beyond all expectations to try to make my parent as comfortable as possible in their electric wheelchair, even when it has been difficult to do so. Nothing has been too much trouble. The Seating Clinic is an amazing resource, staffed by an experienced team with all the skills necessary to solve the myriad of issues that arise with complex spinal-injury patients and their equipment. We are all so impressed and so grateful. I have no doubt that my parent's quality of life would be much, much less if it weren't for this amazing team.
