My partner and I are expected our first baby early next year. We feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to complete the telehealth positive birth class ran by Kasey Bigger at Bunbury Hospital. It was so well delivered and we feel so much more informed about birth and now feel confident that we have strategies to aid us in a natural birth. Prior to the course, I had a large amount of fear of birth but this has been decreased significantly. We can't thanks those that made it possible for us to attend to course enough.

Dear octoberjq65,

Thank you for taking the time to write to Care Opinion about your experiences with the antenatal classes. The transferral of our classes from face to face to VC was in response to the COVID pandemic, and our efforts to ensure that women continued to have access to evidenced based comprehensive antenatal information.

I am pleased that you took the opportunity to attend the telehealth class, and that we have been able to reduce your fear of the birthing journey. Birth is the most amazing experience and I know that the strategies and tools that Kasey has provided you with, will hold you in good stead.

I wish you and your partner all the best for the remainder of your pregnancy, birth and transition into parenthood. You've got this!
