"Hypno birthing - positive birthing class"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Maternity

(as a service user),

We've just recently completed the online hypnobirthing positive birthing class run by Kasey from Bunbury hospital.

This class has been fantastic for my partner and I as we approach the arrival of our first child. It was informative and empowering and has made us feel a lot more confident about the birthing process.

My partner got lots of great tips about how he can support me during the birth and in the lead up to it and now feels more confident in his role as my support person.

I feel that this class should be offered by all hospitals as I feel it's really useful for parents to be. A lot of people are priced out of accessing this information and education, but it should be accessible to everyone.

Thanks so much to Kasey, we really appreciate all your hard work, and you're a fantastic teacher/speaker/presenter.

Dear Travel123,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with the antenatal classes on Care Opinion.

The classes are designed to be comprehensive and evidenced-based, and I am glad that we have been able to achieve our objective to provide you with information and confidence in yourself and in your partner in preparation for birth.

We have been fortunate to have been able to provide these Bunbury classes to women and support teams across WACHS through the use of technology, increasing accessibility to all.

We are also fortunate to have such a dynamic and wonderful facilitator in Kasey and I will pass on your kind words. I wish you well for your birth and your journey into parenthood. I am certain that many of the strategies that you have learnt will continue to be useful throughout the 4th trimester.

Kind regards,

Katrina Jones

Clinical Midwifery Manager
