"ED & SSU Teams"

About: Cardiac Rehabilitation Program - Wonthaggi Wonthaggi Hospital / Emergency Department Wonthaggi Hospital / Theatre

(as the patient),

Scared out of my wits I presented at ED acutely aware of the significance of my symptoms. I was met with calm, focus, professionalism and teamwork.

As the minutes ticked by I was overwhelmed by how fortunate I was to be their capable hands and watching how they dealt with it all both internal and remote teamwork.

Always having time to explain what’s happening to me and with such understanding- just some names: Theatre Claire  ED -Tess, Dr Charlene,  Claire, Deepa, Michelle (Grad- she’s going to be brill) Alex and remote Neurologist.

Outpatients cardio were on the phone booking me in as I was leaving hospital.

Extremely proud to be able to call all of these people my BCH colleagues.

Dear talonmg46,

Your post gave me a shiver because it tells me that one of our very valued staff members has been unwell.

It also sounds like you were able to experience first hand the truly wonderful, skilled staff who work at BCH and that they were able to reassure you, treat you, and connect you to our excellent specialists who partner with us every day to provide great care. That is such great news.

I hope you continue to recover well. Don't hesitate to email me if we can do anything to support you.

Take Care.

Jan.
