"Phone enquiry about a patient"

About: Kerang Hospital / Allied Health

(as a relative),

Over the years I have had a lot to do with the very caring nurses at the hospital and have never been made feel like I am a nuisance at any time, but  I recently encountered one that seemed like they don't enjoy their job when I phoned to ask about a relative in their care.

I felt they were very rude and sharp when inquiried about whom I was asking about and then they let out three loud coughs in my ear with out apologizing or, I believe, turning their face away from the phone.

When I hung up I was not impressed with this nurse's attitude as this is the first time I have ever had this happen and I wonder if they are this with patients as well as the public.
