"MGP4 Recipient for second time (this time for twins)"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as a parent/guardian),

I delivered my twins at KEMH via MGP4 having previously had my other child there 2 years prior.

MGP4 was an amazing service that made pregnancy and birth a lot less stressful, streamline and client-centred. I liked that I had continuity of care via the same Midwife and doctors and that I had someone I knew to contact in an emergency or with any questions, which for me, later proved invaluable in ensuring the safe delivery of both of my twins.

I will be forever grateful to Paula and all of the MGP4 midwives and the red team doctors!

Dear castorjk46,

Congratulations on the birth of your twins and thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.

It is heartening to read that you received such a high standard of care and support from the staff who guided you through your second twin pregnancy and birthing journey.

We are extremely proud of the level of commitment our Midwifery Group Practice 4 (MGP4) team bring to their roles and they are always delighted to receive recognition such as yours from patients and their families. The MGP model of care has made a difference in the care we are able to provide to our patients and it is lovely to hear that you were able to get the support you needed from the staff in MGP4 and the Red team doctors and midwives. WNHS would certainly like to expand the MGP service for our families in the future as our numbers grow so that more women in the community can access care from the same small group of midwives for the duration of their pregnancy, labour and birth and in the postnatal period.

Thank you for sharing your story and we will be sure to send your appreciative comments to all the staff involved, with special thanks to Paula.

Kind Regards

Jodi Graham
