"Emergency Visit"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Recently I attended the Emergency centre at KEMH for bleeding at 8 weeks pregnant. I had two previous miscarriages and understandably was very nervous and upset. I was triaged and cared for by a beautiful, warming, caring midwife Bec who I felt instantly calmed my nerves. Bec made me feel reassured, well cared for, and that my nerves were justified.

After some blood tests and scans, all were diagnosed fine which was extremely lucky as I know this isn't always the case for many women. Thank you for the great care to Bec and Dr Roger.

Dear guidekj75,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH).

I am pleased to hear of the support and care you received during your visit, especially in such an unsettling situation. We are incredibly proud of our team and the way they work with our patients to achieve positive outcomes during the pregnancy and birthing journey and I am glad to hear that this was your experience.

Once again, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I wish you and your family all the best for the future.

Kind regards

Jodi Graham
