I was recently admitted to the Royal Sydney Eye Hospital for emergency eye surgery for a retina detachment. Obviously, this is an extremely overwhelming and frightening experience but a particular nurse in charge of my room for two of the shifts during my o/n stay made me feel very comfortable and safe.
His name was Dipaj ( DJ) and I would sincerely like to thank him for his professionalism, kindness and lovely sense of humour. His presence made not only myself pick up in spirit but, I believe, all the other patients in the room as well. It was obvious to me that he loved his job. I watched also how respectful he was to his co-workers, even in times when a lot of multi-tasking seemed to be expected.
Dipaj, thank you!
I believe you have truly chosen the right career path and anyone who happens to be lucky enough to cross your nursing path is in the amazing hands of a true professional.
"An exceptional experience with an amazing nurse"
