"Child birth/antenatal care"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

Last month I gave birth to my baby girl at King Edward Memorial Hospital and had the best experience. I was well looked after from the moment I entered the hospital. I felt like I was in safe hands even when there were a few scary moments. Everything was explained to me so I could understand what was happening and they calmed me down when I felt uneasy. I appreciated how tentative they were and how many people worked on me.

I had the greatest experience with my midwife at all my antenatal appointments. I appreciate that I was never rushed, able to ask silly questions and call anytime I needed to.

My stay in hospital was very pleasant. The midwives were so helpful and showed & taught me so much. They gave me the confidence to care for my baby alone.

Overall I couldn’t speak higher of King Edward from the antenatal appointments to the delivery itself to the care I received in hospital.

Dear Aprilbaby,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS). This means so much to the staff at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH).

It is great to hear your antenatal appointments, delivery and time spent in Hospital were positive and that our midwives kept you informed and gave you the confidence to care for your baby.

Thank you once again for your feedback. I wish you and your family all the best for the future.

Yours sincerely,

Jodi Graham
