About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Breastfeeding Centre of WA

(as a service user),

I believe the support and care my son and I have received from the Breastfeeding Centre of WA has been incredible. Despite their services being in, as I understand it, extremely high demand, I believe the lactation consultants are generous with their time and take a genuine interest in making sure both mother and baby are feeling comfortable and supported through their feeding journey.

In my opinion the Breastfeeding Centre is an amazing resource and I'm so grateful that they have been there for me. I hope that this service stays within the hospital when it moves to its new premises so it can continue to support women when they're at their most vulnerable. 

Special thanks to Emiko who, I feel, has offered great advice and support.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy, and thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback on your experience with the Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS) and the Breastfeeding Centre of WA.

I am delighted to hear that the Lactation Consultants (LC) were generous with their time and took a genuine interest in making sure that both you and your baby felt comfortable and supported through your breastfeeding journey.

I am so proud of our LCs and Midwives - a dedicated team who are extremely passionate about working with their patients to ensure we give mothers the best possible chance of breastfeeding successfully.

Once again, thank you for providing this lovely feedback. I will ensure that your comments are provided to Emiko.
