(as the patient),

I was lucky enough to be looked after for my first pregnancy through the King Edward MGP. I had the lovely Carissa and Lolita looking after me. The experience was fantastic. I felt so well looked after. It’s indescribable how good it was to see familiar faces at all of my appointments and to have someone to call if I had any worries or concerns. They gave me so much confidence and care through the pregnancy. To go through childbirth for the first time with these beautiful women by my side to encourage me was so amazing. Also the aftercare provided at the home visits I would not have survived without! Thank you, Carissa and Lolita, you two are angels :)

Congratulations on the birth of your new baby. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience with the Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS).

I am so pleased to hear that you had a positive experience with our Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) model of care. WNHS is incredibly proud of the maternity care that is provided by our staff and the way they work with our patients to achieve positive outcomes during the pregnancy and birthing journey. We would certainly like to expand the MGP service for our families in the future as our numbers grow so that more women in the community can access care from the same small group of midwives for the duration of their pregnancy, labour and birth and in the postnatal period.

Once again, thank you for providing us with this great feedback. I wish you and your family all the best for the future.
