"Palliative care - above and beyond"

I wanted to personally email you to let you know about the exceptional care provided to my father. Unfortunately, my father received a diagnosis of terminal cancer late last year.

He received kind, caring and compassionate care from many staff across multiple sites – making his difficult passing a more bearable one. 

The family has already thanked the individuals/units already but I also wanted to put something in writing to you. 

We greatly appreciated the efforts of:

Bridgetown ward nursing staff – especially Amber

Bruce – the palliative care nurse based at Bridgetown

Bridgetown GPs – Drs Mike and Phillip 

Palliative Care Physician – Dr Carolyn 

Oncologists – Drs Andrew and Indunil. 

I feel you should be proud to have them as part of your health care team.
