"Recent hospital admission"

About: Geraldton Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I presented to the ED at Geraldton having become extremely short of breath and with cough/cold symptoms. I had put off attending as I knew I would have to go through covid testing and isolation, but when I got to triage I felt the staff were amazing and very professional and followed the process very well. I was then admitted to the ward after excellent care in ED to a single room and the ward staff looked after me very well, as every staff on entry had to don the full PPE, even the PSAs, to deliver a welcome cup of tea!

It seems people moan about the treatment at Geraldton all the time, but from my experience, I just want to say that I was very impressed by the care received, and as a local Nurse myself, I was proud of the team who work under so much pressure; Thank you so much.
