(as the patient),

I was admitted the previous afternoon ready for the colonoscopy the next day. In my opinion, the staff were all really wonderful and caring; the nurses and the support staff.

I was admitted again early hours on the following day after the colonoscopy. Was very upset but the night nurse that came for me in the ED and took me back to the ward was really nice and put me at ease. So I ended up having a good sleep and was able to go home about 11 o'clock. Even the doctor I saw in the ward went, I believe, out of his way to find results of the tests I had recently had done.

Very impressed with them all.

Being admitted to hospital especially in the early hours of the morning can be daunting for anyone.

I was very pleased to hear on both occasions of your admission to the ward, you received a high level of compassionate care and your experience with interacting with all staff was such a positive one.
