"My son who cut open his heel"

About: Northam Health Service / Emergency Department York Health Service / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

We presented at York District Hospital, Western Australia recently one afternoon. We were met with reassuring smiles and warmth. There was no - well that was a stupid thing to do! It seemed nothing was too much trouble.

Following transfer to Northam Hospital I felt we were met with the same friendliness. While my son was having his stitches a nurse even came over and told my husband to lie down as he had gone a peculiar colour! I believe they were there for all of us, not just the patient.

Dear avocethq37,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback concerning your recent experience at York Hospital and Northam Hospital.

It was very pleasing to read that in each case you and your family presented to the hospital(s) you were all met with the same level of friendly, high-quality compassionate care.

I will have great pleasure in passing your feedback to the staff involved.

I hope your son is well on the way to recovery from his injury.

Best wishes

Trenton
