"Excellent treatment I received at Sydney Eye Hospital"

(as the patient),

I was very concerned about issues with my eye and my GP referred me for emergency treatment at Sydney Eye Hospital. Everything about the experience was professional, friendly and caring. 

At all times I felt Covid safe.

Irene ( nurse) and Mark (Doctor) were amazing! 

I feel very lucky that I got to be treated by both of these Health professionals today. I felt Irene was obviously very well respected in the Department and I can see why - she was incredibly thorough with the initial eye tests and at the same time calming and friendly. Dr Mark, after conducting further tests, explained everything to me very clearly and also in a very friendly manner. He also had a calming demeanour. 

It was a pleasure to have gone there. Thank you to the Dr (an excellent GP) at Balmain Village Health for referring me.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience at Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital Emergency Department. The nursing and medical staff (of course including Irene and Dr Mark) are very passionate about providing a high level of care to the community. Receiving the correct and timely treatment for an eye condition makes all the difference to a person's vision. It sounds as though you have been well supported by Irene and Dr Mark caring for you. It will be my pleasure to pass on your comments about the care you received to the team.
