"Maternity ward air conditioning"

I’d just like to firstly say that the antenatal care I’ve received during 2 extended stays on the Women’s Health Unit at Frankston Hospital has been outstanding.

I wanted to write to flag an environmental issue with the incredibly loud (and never-ending!) noise (from the flow of air) coming from the air conditioning in at least a few single rooms, which I can provide the numbers of. I’ve also been in 2 different share rooms and in my opinion, the climate control is nowhere near as loud! I’m aware of another patient’s partner commenting on the incredibly disruptive noise too!

It’s making for very poor quality sleep/lack of a peaceful day for me. If there was anything that could be done - I believe it would make a difference to the quality of inpatient stay it would make for many, many women and their partners.
