"My journey"

About: Lives Lived Well – Elouera Women’s Residential (Orange)

(as the patient),

This is my second time at Elouera and all the trauma that I have been through I believe I wouldn’t of been able to heal in any other place.

In my opinion, Bel, my caseworker, was amazing. She helped me through everything and kept me real. Kristi my aftercare worker, her I don’t even have words to describe how much she has helped me and I believe will continue to help me as I leave the program.

I am so grateful for Elouera. My journey has been tough but I’m so glad to be 81 days sober today and to be able to go home and see my children. I came into the program so broken and angry. I feel like I am the best version of myself today. Thank you to everyone at Elouera and I am a proud recovering addict.

Dear starfd89,

Firstly congratulations on 81 days sober and reuniting with your children. It is so great to hear that you felt so comfortable and confident with Eloura that you returned to our service and completed it a second time. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to achieve our goals, and you have certainly proven that to yourself! Well done.

It is also so good to hear that your connection with your case worker Bel, and aftercare worker Kristi was so strong. I'm pleased that they were able to help you on your journey and provide the support and care that you needed to achieve abstinence.

Again, congratulations and all the best for your continuing success!

Best regards,

Lara
