"Outstanding Customer Service"

About: Geraldton COVID Vaccination Clinic

(as a parent/guardian),

I just want to send out a huge thank you to Amanda at the Covid Vaccination clinic in Geraldton. I attended the clinic with my children, both of whom were very frightened but particularly my daughter. Amanda was warm and welcoming and went out of her way to chat with my daughter and make her feel at ease.

The amount of time she spent chatting and asking her about her day and reassuring her the nurses would listen to and attend to all her needs was profoundly reassuring for my child. She was kind and attentive to all her needs and had my daughter laughing in the waiting area.

Amanda spoke to the nurses about my daughter's concerns and they went about busily distracting her from the needle. The whole process was far less stressful than any of us expected.  The nurses Shari and Phoebe were wonderful with her, Shari had such a huge smile, nothing could be scary with such a beautiful nurse around.

Then Amanda even came over to chat with my children again in the after waiting area, my daughter felt valued and cared for. As a parent, all you want is for your children to be cared for in the least traumatic environment, and even though Amanda and Shari were extremely busy with many patients, neither ever made us feel rushed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I think your team is wonderful, they should be treasured. We even look forward to catching up with them all in 3 weeks time!

Firstly, I would like to thank you for getting vaccinated and supporting the effort to keep our community safe and healthy.

I also thank you for your lovely feedback on your experience at our COVID-19 vaccination clinic. We are fortunate to have such kind and caring staff like Amanda, Shari and Phoebe ensuring the consumer is at the heart of everything we do. I really appreciate you sharing with us how your children felt cared for and listened to and look forward to sharing with the team how their actions impacted on your family’s health care experience.

Taking the time to provide comfort to our health consumers during what may be a stressful time demonstrates the team embrace our values of communication, quality and compassion. The staff will appreciate hearing your story and I am proud to share your positive feedback.
