"Masks"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / ASB 5N - Acute Aged Care Ward

(as a relative),

Clinical staff member at Age Care Level 6 building not wearing masks. I was visiting my parent who was a patient and noticed a couple of times the clinician was sitting in the room, front of the computer, next to the patient fridge. Every time I saw, the clinician was not wearing a mask. In my opinion, not very professional.

Good afternoon hadarrn66,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I agree this is very unprofessional. I have addressed this issue immediately with the Aged Care leadership team to ensure all staff are wearing masks at all time.

If you would like to forward any specific information such as dates and times, please forward via email to SESLHD-GeneralManager-POWHSSEH@health.nsw.gov.au and I will investigate further.

Kind regards,

Justin O'Hare
