"Thank you to the compassionate staff"

About: Geraldton COVID Vaccination Clinic

(as a service user),

I had my first Covid jab a few days ago, reluctantly! I am a school teacher and am mandated for the jab if I want to return to work next year (as with many other workers).

I was impressed by the service at the Geraldton Hospital vaccination centre.

All staff I dealt with were professional, friendly and caring throughout the process, from the person who registered me at the door to the nurse who took me through for the jab to the nurse who checked in with me while I waited my 15 mins post-jab.

I felt the process was smooth, well managed and I was reassured.

I don’t like hospitals and I don’t like jabs and I am not a big fan of vaccinations. I never have a flu jab.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to those staff who put me at ease and showed compassion.
