"Care from staff"

I just want to thank the staff at Karratha Health Campus for the wonderful care I received whilst undergoing a couple of surgical procedures. I found the whole experience, for someone who is severely psychologically panicked by anything medical, was made so much more manageable by the caring and responsive staff who I dealt with from the day surgery. 

This commenced with Casey at reception and continued with Lisa, Nicky, the nurses in the theatre, and the recovery area where Jules and Kylie took over my care. I can’t speak highly enough of this team of professionals who I believe are all obviously in the right job.

Dr Tony and the anaesthetist Dr Michael (I think) then added their calming skills and expertise to the mix which I felt made for a total care package.

I felt important and also felt that I was in very safe hands. Thank you all for making the experience less traumatic and for making me feel very cared for throughout the procedure. 

I have lived in the Pilbara for thirty years and I found living remotely does carry some real problems with access to essential health services. However if the quality of the care I received at Karratha is anything to go by, I believe I was looked after better than anywhere that could of been on offer in the metro area. This provides me with a great level of comfort and to all the staff mentioned….. thank you!
